Senior Citizen Services Centre – a Home for the Aged

Surat Thani is 320 km north of Hadyai & 645km south of Bangkok. The beneficiary this year is the Senior Citizen Services Centre, a home for the aged, and the funds collected will be used for the ongoing construction of the shelter. The Provincial Administrative Organization of Surat Thani already has a thorough and comprehensive plan in place for the construction of this shelter and its subsequent operation. The shelter is located near a natural hot spring that occupants of the home can use to alleviate aches & pains usually associated with illnesses affecting the aged. The hot spring is also a public domain. The home itself is situated at the outskirt of Surat Thani, providing a peaceful sanctuary away from the bustle of the city.
